Double Edge Safety Razor made from English Yew wood

Double edge razors have regained popularity in recent times due to their extremely close shave, inexpensive operating costs and timeless design. The set does not come with any razor blades but I recommend Feather brand razor blades.

This particular razor was turned on my lathe by hand out of a piece of English Yew that I acquired while living overseas in the United Kingdom. This razor was sealed with cyanoacrylic for durability, damage resistance and water proofing. If properly taken care of, this razor will last a life time.

This razor is shaped in order to give it a nice handle and weight.
